Painting an illuminated neon sign provided a very unique lighting source in an artwork. Usually there is a dominant light source from one direction (like the sun), however the neon lights up the reds and yellows of this sign from different angles.

A contemporary mural painted with bold neon lines and bright colours, this modern artwork utilizes a classic urban auto motif with block shapes, bright reds, and yellows.

A vintage Volvo mechanic overlooks his work, just barely, as only his face is fully painted in the mural. His figure is outlined in a cool blue to pop when contrasting the warm red and yellow background, which can be seen though the figure in a modern illustration approach.

A Volvo P1800 sports car is outlined in white in an illustrative style with blue brush strokes accentuating it's tires, against the bright red and yellow painted background of this contemporary mural.

This vertical section of rectangular shapes adds to the focal point of the mural by moving your eye downwards. When painting I often just follow my instincts, and here the bright red and yellow patterns poured out of my artistic subconscious that views Cubism and De Stijl.
