The “Carbon Blob” sprawls out like a glamour model on a bale of insulation, preventing a struggling construction worker from creating an energy efficient building. These comps were created in Edmonton, Alberta for a marketing client.

The “Carbon Blob,” an uninvited house guest by way of energy inefficiency, forces his way onto a couch between an otherwise happy couple. This was a wonderful job as a comp artist, as the blob character is based on Danny Davito's character Louie in Taxi.

I can't say I'd ever think of drawing Red Green in front of a duct taped toilet contraption that looks like a distillery gone wrong, yet as a comp artist I love the unpredictable subject matter.

It was a lot of fun as a comp artist to draw Red Green, someone I grew up watching, spreading his hilarious duct tape dysfunction on a construction site, to the disapproval of the working foreman in the background.
