Below the bright urban waterfront of Victoria an ocean wilderness finds its way, unseen but right beside us below the surface. I painted this seascape to be mixed with expressive abstract strokes that bring viewers to meet an octopus tour guide and other wildlife.

“Victoria Undersea Dream” is a 48 by 36 original seascape large enough to let the upper cityscape section breath it’s details into life. It was an exciting to bring a different view of the Victoria, BC waterfront into a painting revealing abundant sea life just below the surface in an over under split shot artwork.

A contemporary original large-scale acrylic artwork inspired by Victoria BC’s coastline, combining abstract action painting and sunset colours with cityscape of the harbour skyline and glowing city lights. Realistic boats and buildings rendered with architectural details merge with splashes of orange and blue that illuminate the night sky and ocean.
