Storyboards are a sequence of sketches that give structure to the visual story of a commercial, movie, or any video. In commercials, storyboards illustrate the shots that will quickly establish a setting, theme, mood and setup for humour in 30 seconds or less. With a live action TV commercial, storyboards are essential to “see” how the production will look before shooting begins.
