I might be one of the few people residing on Vancouver Island not to have seen orcas yet. This helps stir my imagination to the point where when I see images suggesting a close scene with an orca pod, I can almost hear them exhaling from their blow holes, and feel the spout of sea water on my cheek.

While boating I always hope to be joined by dolphins and other wildlife, and frequently daydream about seeing them. Were a huge animal like an orca to actually keep pace with my boat it would be terrifying and amazingly cool to behold!
