“Alberta Highland Cows” 22 by 28 inches, acrylic on canvas. I had a great time painting these iconic, comedic Scottish highland cows as a housewarming commission for an Alberta couple. The couple’s property and home is included in the landscape, shown in the middle ground up to the river. The vast rural scene is seen from a higher vista than really exists and was used to lift viewer’s eyes to see an aerial view that was provided as a reference photo.
