Light magenta acrylic paint is added to the parliamentary garden flowers of my Legislative Assembly of BC wall mural, shown here caught in painting action. For this Victoria mural I used a movement based style focusing on colours and shapes and not on detail. That said, you can still see the reference photos that kept the wall art grounded in representational reality.
The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, or “Lege” for short, is starting to come to painted life in this indoor mural with an art nouveau style sky. An outlined sketch of the parliament buildings is used to help progress the perspective drawing and composition, grounding the building in the mural with some realism.
I am available for freelance. Can't wait for the next exciting project! Could be yours?
